Accessible Guest Room Features

The Jane Hotel offers a Captain Cabin guest room with 1 King Bed. This room is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Accessible room features were designed to accommodate any guests with special needs. In addition to providing guests easy to reach shelving and controls, roll-in showers with grab bars,  The Jane provides technology(TTY/TTD) to assist with the visually and hearing impaired.  TVs in all guest rooms are equipped with Closed Captioning.

Public Spaces

The Jane Hotel is a historic landmark building built in 1908.  The front entrance has 13 steps in order to enter the building.  Our main lobby and registration, and restaurants (Old Rose), are designed to accommodate any guest requiring special accessibility. Public restrooms, ballroom and rooftop terrace are accessible via the elevators located on each floor.

Guests arriving to The Jane Hotel can access our main lobby and guest reception desk by utilizing the main staircase or if wheelchair access is available via wheelchair ramp on West Street with access to the elevator to get to the reception, ballroom, restaurant and guest room areas.  If wheelchair access is needed please contact the front desk at 212-924-6700 and a staff member will provide assistance with entry and/or exit from the Jane Hotel with hotel employee assistance.
